Interessant nieuwigheidje qua verslaggeving op pg.15 van het Interim financial report 2016:

The allocations of expenses have been determined based on relevant measures, which reflect the level of benefits of these functions to each of the operating segments. As Automotive and Licensing to a large extent share the use of common assets and technology platforms, internally management monitors the EBIT of these units on a combined basis. Accordingly, in the table below we also present the total EBIT and EBITDA on a combined basis to align with management’s view.

Iemand een idee aan welke common assets en technology platforms we hier moeten denken? Maps natuurlijk, en verder?

Toch vind ik het vreemd. Ik bedoel, dan kan je Consumer en Telematics er ook wel bij halen. En ondanks die 'common assets' wordt er bij Automotive veel meer afgeschreven dan bij Licensing, zowel absoluut als procentueel (zie de cijfers op diezelfde pagina).

Zit er iets anders achter? Met het oog op de toekomst?

Normaliter zijn het vergelijkbare kwartalen.
De nu voorspelde omzet consumer is dus laag vergeleken bij Q2 vorig jaar maar niet versus Q3.

Q1 2017 vs Q1 2016 was -16%
In dat licht is -22% voor Q2 2017 vs Q2 2016 aan de lage kant. Uit de opmerkingen tijdens CC Q1 2017 kan worden geconcludeerd dat er zo rond september weer nieuwe producten worden geïntroduceerd, dat kan Q3 2017 weer wat omhoog trekken.
