Interesting article about demand for GRAPHITE in connection to Batteries. Projected is rise of 200%. AMG INVESTORS should be aware AMG has a substantial FOODHOLD in GRAPHITE PRODUCTION AND SO AMG is likely to PROFIT on LITHIUM AND GRAPHITE!!!

Niet alleen zal er veel vraag naar lithium zijn , maar ook in grafiet.

vooral deze zin'Demand for graphite for lithium-ion batteries will explode over 200 percent in the next four years driven by the EV surge and energy storage alone' zegt genoeg.
AMG bracht dit jaar nog de Ancuabe-mijn in Mozambique weer operationeel.

For all people interested in AMG:
Nov 2 we will get nice quarter results.

Amg will score big time next year with their Lithium productionin which they can harvest the raw material for the lowest price since it is readily available located on a pile of of rest material of their other mining activities.
Grafite will also be wanted next year and guess what AMG has a grafite mine operational
Vanadium they produce and recycle -->
Tantalum they mine. And this stuff is also wanted the coming years

AMG is an underestimated company that will suprise you in a positive way in 2018/2019

So stock price is still attractive, but do not wait to long !!

AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V. Approves Expansion of Lithium and Tantalum Operations in Brazil

Amsterdam, 12 December 2017 (Regulated Information) --- AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V. ("AMG", EURONEXT AMSTERDAM: "AMG") is pleased to announce that the Supervisory Board of AMG has approved the construction of a second lithium concentrate plant at the Mibra mine in Brazil, with an annual production capacity of 90,000 tons.

AMG expects to complete the planned expansion by the end of 2019, and the total capital investment is approximately $110 million. Once completed, total annual production capacity from AMG's Mibra mine will increase to 180,000 tons of lithium concentrate and 600,000 lbs of tantalum concentrate. As part of the investment, AMG will also expand and develop the existing mining infrastructure to support the expanded lithium and tantalum operations. Construction permits for the new lithium concentrate and tantalum concentrate plants have already been secured.

In conjunction with this investment, AMG has mandated HSBC and Citi to raise $500 million in new credit facilities, comprised of a $300 million seven-year Term Loan B and a $200 million undrawn Revolving Credit facility. The new facilities are intended to refinance AMG's existing term loan as well as fund incremental capital expenditures. AMG expects to finalize the new facility in the first quarter of 2018.

The construction of AMG's first lithium concentrate plant is proceeding on time and on budget, with production start-up scheduled for June 2018.

The previously published Technical Report on Mineral Resources states that AMG's Mibra mine has 20.3 million tons of measured and indicated resources, including tantalum, niobium, tin and lithium. Based upon the expanded production level of 180,000 tons of lithium concentrate from 2020 onwards, AMG estimates that the current life of the mineral resource is approximately 20 years.

Lithium Project Overview

As a global critical materials company at the forefront of CO2 reduction trends, AMG entered the lithium market in 2016 with an investment of approximately $50 million in the construction of a lithium concentrate (also known as spodumene) plant at its existing Mibra mine in Brazil. In December 2017, an approximately $110 million additional investment was approved for the construction of a second lithium concentrate plant, resulting in capacity expansion from 90,000 MT to 180,000 MT per year.

Leveraging its existing mining infrastructure in place at Mibra (which has been in operation for almost 40 years), AMG’s goal is to be the low-cost producer of lithium concentrate globally. AMG can recover lithium-bearing materials from the existing and future tailings at its profitable tantalum operations at Mibra, with the ore extraction and crushing costs absorbed by the Tantalum operations. AMG has successfully operated a lithium pilot plant since 2010, with more than 2.8 million tons of spodumene feed stock having been extracted.

Phase I of the project involves the construction of a lithium concentrate plant to produce 90,000 MT of spodumene per year, with operations expected to commence in mid-2018. Phase II entails increasing the annual production of spodumene from 90,000 MT to 180,000 MT per year, with mechanical completion expected in the second half of 2019. Phase III of the project would see AMG expand its operations into downstream market via construction of a lithium chemical plant. The recent mineral resource estimate for Mibra (published in April 2017 and prepared in accordance with National Instrument 43-101 Guidelines) identified 20.3 million MT of measured and indicated resources, which includes lithium, tantalum, niobium, and tin.

AMG - ADVANCED METALLURGIAL GROUP - LITHIUM - VANADIUM

seeking alfa:

''AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group NV [NA:AMG] [GR:ADG] (OTCPK:AMVMF)

AMG Vanadium is a leading provider of products and services for the metals, manufacturing, refinery and petrochemical industries. AMG Vanadium produces ferrovanadium and related ferroalloys from spent refinery catalysts using our proprietary pyrometallurgical process. Spent hydroprocessing catalysts represent an environmental problem for many refiners. Disposal in a landfill does not eliminate the long-term environmental hazards and legal responsibility associated with this material. Catalyst disposition through conversion to another material is a solution that offers important ecological and cost-saving benefits to the refiner's stakeholders, to the community-at-large and to our environment.

On May 2, AMG announced,

"AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V. reported first quarter 2018 revenue of $308.4 million, a 20% increase from $258.0 million in the first quarter 2017. EBITDA for the first quarter 2018 was $44.5 million, a 35% increase from $33.0 million in the first quarter 2017. Net income attributable to shareholders increased 18% to $18.4 million in the first quarter 2018 from $15.6 million in the first quarter 2017."

You can view the latest investor presentation here.''

Blijkbaar was hij nog niet op de hoogte van de ontwikkelingen binnen de vanadium BU, dus ik heb hem er nog even op gewezen.

''Matt,

First of all, thank you for you articles. I strongly appreciate your analyses.
I noticed that lately you are paying increasing attention to Advanced Metallurgical Group(AMG). Even though this company has allready seen huge increase in stock price, I still see significant upside potential in the near future, as they are really on point with their growth strategies, especially in lithium and vanadium.

The company was/is operating somewhat under the radar, but is starting to get more attention. And some more attention is definitely justified!
Just to make sure that the developments of their vanadium business are top of mind, since I do not see any elaboration within this article, I would like to address the following highlights:

1. AMG informed us that they are going to expand the vanadium production capacity in Ohio by 30%.
amg-nv.com/...

2. AMG has announced that it entered into exclusive negotiations with Criterion Catalyst and Technologies, a subsidiary of Shell, to set up a new global solution for spent catalyst cradle-to-grave. Internally they are referring to this as: ''Ohio 2''. They are currently assesing the feasibility of several potential sites. Locations in the Middle East, Asia and North America are under consideration. According to the CEO of AMG, dr. Heinz Schimmelbusch, they will publish further information about this matter, ''very very soon''.
amg-nv.com/...

Furthermore, AMG stated: ''We now believe we can achieve our goals earlier than previously expected and can commit to turning the present EBITDA level into $200 million, or more, in the fiscal year ending December 31, 2020.

AMG and Heinz Schimmelbusch tend to be very conservative in their projections and their above mentioned projection is definately CONSERVATIVE. I even believe that there is a decent chance they will be able to achieve their 200 million dollar EBITDA by the end of this year.''

Kreeg hierop nog een reactie. Hij geeft verder aan dat hij deze informatie zal meenemen in zijn volgende artikel over vanadium.

''Snirp - Thank you. Yes AMG are really doing very well indeed so definitely on my radar. Appreciate the updated info. Cheers.''
