Ripple Teams With 10 New Universities for Blockchain Research Initiative
With the new additions, the firm now has a total of 29 university partners, according to Ripple.

Ripple launched the initiative in June 2018, committing over $50 million to the effort and partnering with 17 universities from across the globe at the time.

Staat Ripple (XRP) op het punt van uitbreken?
Ripple (XRP) vertoont sterke voortekenen

Als we de Ripple grafiek bekijken van het jaar 2019 is er iets opvallends te zien. De dieptepunten in 2019 liggen een stuk hoger dan de dieptepunten in 2018. Dat is een heel goed teken voor de lange termijn. Het kan even duren, maar het lijkt erop dat XRP voor een uitbraak staat.

Slimme timing van Coinbase om XRP nu toe te voegen... vorig jaar had de toevoeging de prijs (tijdelijk) door het dak laten schieten, maar nu de markt op z'n gat ligt gebeurt er weinig...
Kunnen hun klanten de XRP goedkoop inkopen....

“Currently Coinbase Pro isn’t part of the constituents of the global price of XRP but given enough trading volume on the exchange it could become part of the RLX,” the company reaffirmed today.

Ripple, led by the CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, is at the forefront of fintech development in the incredibly profitable cross-border payment space. The deep connections between Ripple and major financial institutions, such as American Express, Santander or Standard Chartered, mean it is likely to retain its enviable position as the bridge between the brave new world of cryptocurrency and the staid old world of traditional finance.

Whenever crypto finance critics, like Warren Buffett, cast doubt on the long-term potential of something within the blockchain space, they typically point to a lack of real utility underlying the value of digital assets. However, it’s clear that central banks and major financial institutions recognize Ripple has incredible utility value.

Although the specific date of when Ripple RLX indices will be listed on Nasdaq is under wraps, it’s only a matter of time before one of the world’s leading stock exchanges will make a big announcement.

SIX Exchange List XRP Exchange-Traded Product in Two Months

Hany Rashwan, co-founder and CEO of the Swiss company Amun AG – which already offers several crypto ETPs – told CoinDesk in an interview that his firm has received approval from SIX to issue the XRP-linked ETP with the ticker name AXRP, adding:

“We can comfortably say that we expect to release the world’s first XRP ETP within the next two months.”

A Big Bet on Blockchain and Gaming: Ripple and Forte Announce $100 Million Fund


According to Beard, Ripple’s Xpring will distribute the grants to game developers in the form of XRP, though he acknowledged most recipients will likely convert them to U.S. dollars given that services like AWS only accept fiat currency.

In terms of distributing the grants, Forte and Ripple say they are targeting game developers with over 50,000 daily active users. Beard added that big and small companies will be eligible to receive grants, and that some of the grants could be worth millions of dollars.

Coinbase Soft Launches International Payments with XRP and USDC
The exchange is using two cryptocurrencies for the service, XRP and USDC, the latter of which was launched last fall by Circle affiliate CENTRE. USDC was also the first stablecoin to be listed by Coinbase. XRP was added to Coinbase in late February, a move long sought by supporters of the Ripple-tied token.

Coinbase is prima, maar is geen blijvertje ga ik van uit.
Als crypto meer mainstream zal worden in de toekomst dan begrijpt iedereen ook beter hoe het werkt.
Het loont om te kijken waar de transactiekosten laag zijn.
En natuurlijk direct in eigen wallet.
