Vandaag stijgt de koers met 11% en dat tikt aan na de enorme daling.

De FR0011606169 kruipt weer wat omhoog. Maar de laatste dagen gaat het hard. Heeft iemand enig idee waarom? De FR0010154385 doet niet zoveel.

Ik zie het al. Redelijke cijfers gepresenteerd. Schuldenlast teruggebracht. Nu gaat ook FR0010154385 wat mee omhoog. Hopelijk zet het door.

Casino en de 51% aandeelhouder Rallye zijn weer negatief in het nieuws (Moody's)met hun grote schulden. Casino moet een hoog dividend uitkeren (gehele cash flow) aan Rallye, omdat deze anders de rente op hun schulden niet kunnen betalen.

Casino has been informed by its reference shareholder, Rallye, of the launch of a safeguard procedure relating to respectively Rallye and its subsidiaries Cobivia and HMB, as well as Foncière Euris, Finatis and Euris as announced today by these companies.

These procedures do no relate to Casino group, nor its operations, nor its employees, and do not impact the ongoing execution of its strategic plan.

RALLYE
Paris, May 23rd, 2019 - Rallye and its subsidiaries Cobivia and HMB, as well as their parents companies
Foncière Euris, Finatis and Euris, requested and obtained the opening of safeguard proceedings by
judgments rendered on May 23rd, 2019, for a six months period. The Commercial Court in Paris
appointed Mrs. Hélène Bourbouloux and Mr. Frédéric Abitbol as judicial administrators.
The operating subsidiaries, Casino and Go Sport, are not concerned by these proceedings.
Following the persistent and massive speculative attacks against the group's securities, the companies
under safeguard proceedings will, within the framework of these proceedings, ensure the integrity of the
group and improve their debt profile in a stable environment.
As at December 31, 2018, the net financial debt of Rallye, Foncière Euris, Finatis, and Euris are the
following:
- Rallye: €2,899m
- Foncière Euris: €180m
- Finatis: €104m
- Euris: €112m
Part of this debt is subject to pledge over Casino, Rallye, Foncière Euris, or Finatis shares. The number
of shares to be pledged is impacted by share prices variations. Rallye and its subsidiaries have, as of
today, pledged nearly all of their shares.
Furthermore, Rallye has drawn an amount of €202m out of the €500m credit facility due June 30, 2020,
bearing a margin of 6%.
In this context, it is key for the companies to have time to reprofile their debts within the secured
framework of the safeguard proceeding. These proceedings suspend, pending the approval of a
safeguard plan, the payment of their debts arisen prior to the opening of the safeguard proceedings.
Information will be regularly disclosed to the market all along the progress of these proceedings.
The listing of all relevant companies’ securities will resume on May, 24th at the market opening.
About safeguard proceedings
Safeguard proceedings, which can last up to eighteen months, aim at protecting companies that are not
cash-flow insolvent while giving them sufficient time to reprofile their debt (which could be reschedule
over a period of ten years) and ensure their sustainability.

Koers nu 35 (circa 10.30); het beste zou zijn als Casino naar een andere en financieel sterke partij zou overgaan. Dan kan de koers weer herstellen naar richting 70.

Ik neem aan dat de perp van Casino in eerste instantie ook buitenschot blijven. Dan zou de koers maandag toch aardig moeten opveren

De koers ging donderdag naar de 32 en vrijdag terug naar de 36.
Ik heb geen glazen bol waarin staat wat er maandag gaat gebeuren, maar heb de indruk dat we het opveren al hebben gehad.

Maar nu gaat de koers weer onderuit op de volgende mededeling:

Casino Group announces that it will not pay an interim dividend in 2019

Paris, May 28th 2019

Casino Group takes note of Standard & Poor's' decision to lower the Group's financial rating, following the entry into safeguard proceedings of Rallye.

Standard & Poor's downgraded the Group's rating by two notches from BB- to B and placed the rating on negative watch.

This change in rating has no impact on the availability or cost of the Group's existing financial resources.

Casino Group reaffirms all its financial objectives, and in particular:

Free cash-flow in France before dividends and financial expenses of at least €0.5 billion
Growth in trading profit for the retail business in France of at least 10%
A disposal plan of at least €2.5 billion by the first quarter of 2020
The Group confirms the priority given to pursuing its debt reduction strategy and, in this context, the Board of Directors, which met today, decided not to pay an interim dividend in 2019.

Lastig te zeggen wat dit waard.

Als er geen dividend wordt betaald mag de rente op de perpetual worden overgeslagen (niet cumulatief).

Anderzijds is schuldreductie en niet uitbetalen dividend wel gunstig voor de financiële positie.

Omdat de rente toch heel laag is ben ik geneigd naar punt 2, de markt niet.

Het interim dividend wordt overgeslagen.
Naar verwachting komen er nog wel meer negatieve (media) berichten, die de koers onderuit halen waarna er geleidelijk weer een herstel volgt.
Het is echt afwachten naar de uitkomst van het onderhandelingen in die 6 maanden.
