CNN neigt steeds meer naar het Trump kamp.

CNN heeft nu "conspiracy dunce(domkop)" Sean Duffy ingehuurd als presentator.

Sean Duffy is onlangs opgestapt als congreslid(Republikein) om meer tijd aan zijn familie te besteden. Duffy heeft 9 kinderen.

En nu opeens presentator bij CNN. In zijn eerste optreden herhaalde hij Trump's conspiracy theory over een server van de Democratische Partij, die , zoals geclaimd wordt, gecontroleerd werd door Oekraine.

Lagarde zegt dat Trump stabiliteit van de wereldeconomie bedreigt - media

(ABM FN-Dow Jones) Christine Lagarde, voormalig directeur van het Internationaal Monetair Fonds, noemt de Amerikaanse president Donald Trump verantwoordelijk voor veel risico's in de wereldeconomie en waarschuwt dat meer nationalisme niet het antwoord is op economische zorgen.

In een interview in het televisieprogramma ’60 Minutes’ zei Lagarde, de nieuwe voorzitter van de Europese Centrale Bank, dat de onvoorspelbaarheid van Trump beleggers dwingt om minder risico's te nemen en dat de Amerikaans-Chinese handelsoorlog "een flinke hap uit de wereldeconomie gaat nemen".

"Als je bijna een procentpunt van de groei afschaaft, dan betekent dat minder investeringen, minder banen, meer werkloosheid", aldus Lagarde tegen John Dickerson van CBS News.

Door de sterke verwevenheid van de wereldeconomie, is het nationalisme dat Trump voorstaat geen oplossing, zei Lagarde, waarbij ze het klimaat en terrorisme noemde als zaken die een internationale aanpak vergen.

Lagarde riep beleidsmakers op om "als volwassen mannen" bij elkaar te gaan zitten en een deal te sluiten.

Among 12 major political issues, Americans are most likely to rate health care (65%) as a critical issue. A majority (54%) of Americans also say terrorism is a critical issue. Just under half feel similarly about climate change (49%), immigration (49%), and the fairness of presidential elections (48%). More than four in ten Americans consider foreign interference in presidential elections (46%), crime (45%), jobs and employment (45%), and race relations (44%) to be critical issues as well. Americans are less likely to regard the federal deficit (40%), the gap between the rich and the poor (38%), and trade agreements with other countries (35%) as critical.

Even the majority agreement on health care and terrorism as critical issues, however, masks deep partisan divides. Strikingly, none of the top three critical issues for Democrats overlap with the top three critical issues for Republicans. Like Americans overall, Democrats are most likely to regard health care (77%) as critical. But Democrats rate climate change (72%) and foreign interference in presidential elections (63%) as the next most critical issues. By contrast, Republicans’ top three critical issues are terrorism (63%), immigration (60%), and crime (50%).

Across all racial groups, health care is the issue most frequently rated as critical, including more than seven in ten black (78%) and Hispanic (71%) Americans, and more than six in ten of other or mixed race Americans (63%) and whites (61%). Beyond that issue, priorities diverge. Among white Americans, the other most critical issues are terrorism (52%) and immigration (48%), aligning them closely with Republicans. Hispanic Americans blend Republican and Democratic issues with majorities saying climate change (64%) and terrorism (59%) are critical. Americans of other or mixed races similarly prioritize climate change (62%) and terrorism (54%). Black Americans most frequently say crime (71%) and fairness of presidential elections (69%) are critical issues.

Like Americans overall, non-college-educated whites are most likely to consider health care (62%) and terrorism (59%) critical issues. Just over half (51%) of this group say immigration is a critical issue as well. This group blends two top Republican issues (terrorism and immigration) with one of the top Democratic issues (health care). By contrast, the top three issues for whites with a college degree mirror the top Democratic issues: health care (58%), climate change (50%), and foreign interference in presidential elections (46%).

The survey also tested two opposite statements about each political party. A majority (53%) of Americans say the Democratic Party is trying to make capitalism work for average Americans, but 44% believe the party has been taken over by socialists.

Half (50%) of Americans say the Republican Party is trying to protect the American way of life against outside threats, and almost half (48%) say the party has been taken over by racists.

Nearly two in three (64%) Americans think the country is on the wrong track, compared to 36% who think the country is going in the right direction. While most Republicans (74%) say the country is going in the right direction, nearly nine in ten Democrats (89%) believe that the country is on the wrong track; only 11% of Democrats think the country is moving in the right direction. Independents look very similar to Americans in general.

President Trump’s net favorability ratings are at the lowest point since he took office in 2017. Only about one in three (35%) Americans say they have a favorable opinion of the President, and 64% say they have an unfavorable opinion, for a net rating of -29%. A plurality (48%) of Americans say they have a very unfavorable opinion of Trump, the highest since he took office. While Trump’s favorability among Republicans remains extraordinarily high (82%), it is in single digits among Democrats (6%). Among independents, only about one-third (32%) hold a favorable view of Trump, compared to 68% who hold an unfavorable view, including nearly half (46%) who hold a very unfavorable view of the president.

Het Midden Oosten Peace Proces van Jared Kushner was gebaseerd op afspraken met Netanyahu.
Eerst kondigde Kushner aan met zijn plannen te wachten tot het resultaat van de verkiezingen in Israel begin April. Na de April verkiezingen kon er geen regering gevormd worden en werden nieuwe verkiezingen uitgeschreven voor September.
Hierop besloot Kushner zijn Vredes Plannen tot na September uit te stellen.
Nu Netanyahu geen regering kan vormen, zullen we moeten wachten op een reactie van Kushner over hoe en wanneer zijn Middle East Peace Plans gerealiseerd gaan worden.

Ik weet niet of ik erg vrolijk wordt van die dertig % die info tot zich neemt van buiten het gesticht en alsnog besluit dat trump een leider is.

House Democrats are facing a time crunch to quickly wrap up their investigation into allegations President Donald Trump abused his office in pushing Ukraine to probe his political rivals, prompting growing expectations that votes on impeaching Trump could slip closer to the end of the year.

Some Democrats had hoped that a narrow probe -- focused on whether Trump put on ice efforts to bolster relations with Ukraine and provide US military aid to the country until it carried through with a political favor -- could conclude swiftly, with a potential vote to impeach Trump by Thanksgiving.
But that has proven to be more complicated than it initially seemed, according to multiple Democratic lawmakers and sources. The reason: Each witness has so far provided more leads for investigators to chase down, including new names to potentially interview or seek documents from. Plus, Democrats have had to reschedule several witnesses, including some this week in part because of memorial services for the late Rep. Elijah Cummings, and others because they needed more time to retain lawyers.

Voor wat het waard is.
Graham heeft laten zien niet standvastig te zijn.
In 2017 stond hij open voor het Mueller onderzoek. Werd door Trump uitgenodigd voor een dagje golf op 9 October 2017.

Daarna was hij een fervent tegenstander van het Mueller onderzoek en steunde hij Trump volledig.

Nu dus voorstander van een impeachment procedure. Zegt nu : laat maar zien welke misdaden er begaan zijn.
En tijdens de stemming zeggen: ja dit zijn geen ernstige misdaden voor impeachment.
Vanuit een positieve blik kan het zijn dat Graham wel oprecht is. En hij bij een impeachment stemming een rechtvaardig oordeel velt.

De tijd zal het leren.
