idd, maar was een mooie trade tot een tijdje terug.

Jammer dat de hele sector negatief is.
Vast een keer andere tijden in de toekomst.

Waarom de nikkelprijs zo snel stijgt.
Door REDACTIE DFT

Gisteren, 18:45 in FINANCIEEL

GARIBALDI DRILLS 18.2 METERS OF 7% NICKEL
AND 3.8% COPPER AT NICKEL MOUNTAIN

Vancouver, British Columbia, September 12, 2019 - Garibaldi Resources (TSXV: GGI) (the “Company” or “Garibaldi”) is pleased to provide the following Nickel Mountain update including additional assay results as 2019 diamond drilling continues to build out Northwest British Columbia’s first magmatic nickel-copper-rich sulphide system in the heart of the prolific Eskay Camp.

Highlights:
• Drill hole EL-19-53, filling a gap on the northwest part of the Lower Discovery Zone (LDZ), has cut 30.2 meters of 4.74% nickel and 3.22% Cu (plus cobalt and precious metals) including 18.2 meters of 7.04% nickel and 3.81% copper within a broader intercept of 86.5 meters (65 m to 151.5 m) averaging 1.88% nickel and 1.32% copper (true width estimated at 69.2 meters);
• Drill hole EL-19-48 has intersected 7.12% nickel and 3.34% copper over 4.76 meters within 44.5 meters of 1.20% nickel and 0.79% copper (true width estimated at 35.6 meters), widening the LDZ by 12 meters to the northeast;
• Drill hole EL-19-54 (assays pending) has extended the Lower and Upper Discovery Zones to the west by 14 meters and 33.5 meters, respectively. Significantly, it has also intersected strongly mineralized olivine gabbro at depth (302 m to 324.7 m) in a second magma chamber that plunges toward the southeast where a potential feeder zone may exist. EL-19-54 cut six separate intervals of mineralization totaling 142 meters including a total of 8.9 meters of massive sulphides and 133 meters of mineralized gabbro and sediments;
• Additional assaying by SGS and Actlabs of selected interval samples reported in 2017 and 2018 has revealed that the Nickel Mountain massive sulphides are unusually enriched with rhodium, iridium, osmium and ruthenium compared to global magmatic sulphide mineralization.

Steve Regoci, Garibaldi President and CEO, commented: “The improved structural understanding of the known zones at Nickel Mountain is leading to increasingly robust results and new discoveries. It has also aided us in developing strategic new drill pad locations that now allow our crews to explore the E&L from a different geometry.

“We eagerly anticipate providing investors with additional updates including multiple new assay results during the second half of September,” Regoci added.

Drill Hole EL-19-53

EL-19-53, processed on a rush basis, represents the widest massive sulphide intercept (18.2 meters) and the longest section of continuous mineralization (86.5 meters) east of the historic E&L deposit since Garibaldi discovered the high-grade Lower and Upper Discovery Zones in its first-ever drill program at Nickel Mountain in 2017.

Dr. Peter Lightfoot, Technical Adviser to Garibaldi, commented: “The spectacular 18.24m interval of high-grade massive sulphide from the Lower Discovery Zone in EL-19-53 demonstrates the continuity of the mineralization, and encourages further drilling to establish the vertical and lateral extent of this exceptionally valuable style of mineralization.

“Drilling from a strategic new platform is also very significant as Garibaldi takes this unique Northwest British Columbia discovery to an even higher level,” Dr. Lightfoot added.

GARIBALDI FOLLOWS NEW HIGH-GRADE PATHWAYS BELOW LOWER
DISCOVERY ZONE AT NICKEL MOUNTAIN

Vancouver, British Columbia, November 4, 2019 - Garibaldi Resources (TSXV: GGI) (the “Company” or “Garibaldi”) is pleased to report that the latest assay results from Nickel Mountain continue to build on high-grade nickel sulphide mineralization near-surface in multiple zones while significant new potential is being identified at depth with EL-19-54’s confirmation of a mineralized chamber and the discovery of another mineralized chamber, both in addition to the main E&L chamber.

Crews have just completed drill hole EL-19-80, the 34th of this season, as they continue to expand the scale of Northwest British Columbia’s first nickel-copper-rich magmatic sulphide system in all directions. This update includes assays for 11 additional holes through EL-19-61, following previously reported EL-19-53, EL-19-48 and EL-19-47. Jeremy Hanson, Garibaldi VP-Exploration, stated: “Many more assays are yet to come. 2019 will unquestionably be our most productive and significant season yet at Nickel Mountain.”

Highlights:
• For the first time at Nickel Mountain, massive sulphide mineralization has been intersected below the Lower Discovery Zone (LDZ) in a second new chamber starting 202 meters downhole and 50 meters below and 40 meters north of the LDZ in drill hole EL-19-65 (see below, assays pending);
• Drill hole EL-19-54 cut four separate intervals of massive sulphide mineralization totaling 9.7 meters core length, at depths starting from 35 meters, 82 meters, 114 meters and 147 meters, including 4.9 meters grading 5.46% nickel and 3.21% copper. This important hole extended the Upper and Lower Discovery Zones westward and, significantly, intersected 51.2 meters of disseminated nickel sulphide mineralization in a chamber starting 290 meters downhole. In total, EL-19-54 cut 142 meters (core length) of mineralization in multiple intervals (84.4 meters above a combined 1% nickel-copper threshold) including 52.3 meters grading 0.65% nickel and 0.49% copper starting just 32.5 meters from surface;
• The two mineralized chambers greatly expand the potential scale of the E&L system at depth, providing a vector into potential new massive sulphide zones as these chambers exhibit sulphide textures similar to those previously seen only at shallower levels.

Dr. Peter Lightfoot, Technical Advisor to Garibaldi, commented, “One of the grand unifying features of magmatic sulphide deposits is their tendency to occur in differentiated intrusions with chaotic textures. The crystallization products of the magma in these chambers form pipe-like intrusions that provided the magma highways from the mantle to the surface. Examples from the central Asian nickel belt include Karatungk with structurally complex pathways, similar to those now being unraveled at E&L. Strategic deeper drilling at Nickel Mountain has successfully encountered important new intervals of mineralized gabbroic rocks with E&L-style mineralization.”

GARIBALDI DRILLS 15 METERS GRADING 5.25% NICKEL
AND 3.2% COPPER AT NICKEL MOUNTAIN

Vancouver, British Columbia, December 20, 2019 - Vancouver, British Columbia, December 20, 2019 - Garibaldi Resources (TSXV: GGI) (the “Company” or “Garibaldi”) is pleased to announce that the latest assay results from Nickel Mountain include continued robust nickel values and the highest copper and precious metal grades to date at the project. More extensive zones of shallow mineralization are also being outlined at Northwest British Columbia’s first magmatic nickel-copper-rich massive sulphide system in the heart of the prolific Eskay Camp.

Highlights:
• Drill hole EL-19-71 has cut 7.94% nickel, 5.85% copper, 0.16% cobalt, 7.05 g/t palladium, 2.73 g/t platinum, 1.75 g/t gold and 15.81 g/t silver over 4.43 meters within 14.99 meters (estimated true width of 12 meters) highlighted by 5.25% nickel and 3.21% copper in the upper section of the Lower Discovery Zone (LDZ). This hole cut massive sulphides from 142.5 meters to 157.5 meters including a total of 4.9 meters of dykes with mineralization;
• Drill hole EL-19-65 indicates there may be a distal mineralized zone enriched in copper and precious metals as 7.92% copper, 6.33 g/t palladium, 2.69 g/t platinum, 3.0 g/t gold, 40.0 g/t silver and 1.49% nickel were intersected in a chalcopyrite vein between 132.5 and 132.8 meters downhole within one of three wide intervals of mineralization in this hole. EL-19-65 also confirmed (for the first time) nickel-rich massive sulphides 50 meters below the LDZ starting at a depth of 212.4 meters, providing a vector into potential new chambers along structural corridors;
• Drill hole EL-19-64 has produced the widest mineralized intercept to date east of the historic E&L deposit – 103.98 meters grading 0.56% nickel and 0.51% copper starting just 16.7 meters downhole, confirming there is a shallow and well mineralized gabbro directly north of the LDZ. Importantly, EL-19-64 is also the third drill hole to intersect a known chamber 170 meters below the LDZ. This southeast dipping chamber is considered highly prospective for potential concentration of massive sulphides and exhibits high nickel-copper tenor (metal concentration recalculated into 100% sulphide).

Dr. Peter Lightfoot, Garibaldi Technical Adviser, commented: “We’ve made very important strides at the E&L. The plunge extent of the mineralized E&L gabbros are now being tracked by geology and the geochemical signature of the intrusion. Exploration beneath the E&L and to the east has now identified multiple intercepts of gabbro that are possibly segments of the original E&L intrusion. These newly discovered segments of the E&L intrusion are likely parts of a structurally disrupted primary magma chamber which tapped magma from the mantle along an elongated pipe shaped conduit.”

Jeremy Hanson, Garibaldi VP-Exploration, commented: “These latest results emphasize persistent widespread nickel-copper mineralization at Nickel Mountain. Both deeper chambers, in holes 64 and 65, were found utilizing geological and geochemical interpretation as opposed to the use of borehole geophysics alone. These chambers hold excellent exploration potential. Hole 71, drilled to test geometry and compare metallurgy, tenor and grade, shows the propensity of the LDZ to host high precious metal values and very enriched copper to go along with top tier nickel grades.”

GARIBALDI CHANNEL SAMPLE FROM CASPER ASSAYS 93.29 G/T GOLD,
CASPER TRENCH RETURNS 5.69 G/T GOLD OVER 52 METERS

Vancouver, British Columbia, September 29, 2020 - Garibaldi Resources (TSXV: GGI) (the “Company” or “Garibaldi”) is pleased to announce new assay results from channel sampling at the “Casper” high-grade gold quartz vein discovery. Casper is located 13 km north of the Company’s flagship E&L nickel-copper-cobalt massive sulphide project in Northwest British Columbia.

Garibaldi owns a 100% interest in over 180 sq. kms of highly prospective mineral claims in the heart of the historic Eskay camp. The claim group has excellent infrastructure, with nearby road access and power, the Company’s geological team can explore multiple targets from one base camp location.

The discovery of a low elevation (430 meters) high-grade gold prospect nearby to the E&L project, has contributed to the accelerated surface exploration and rapid advancement of the expanding Casper gold vein system to drill readiness. Garibaldi crews have completed a rock saw channel sampling program over exposed sections of the 130 meters now uncovered by mechanized trenching over the main Casper gold quartz vein, the highlights of which are as follows:

Highlights:

• The Casper project geological team completed an unbiased channel sampling program collecting a total of 94 in-situ quartz vein samples cut every meter along the trenched vein exposed which remains open along its NW-SE strike;
• A total of 61 Channel sample assays returned gold grades ranging from 0.676 g/t gold up to 93.29 g/t gold from a Channel sample that contained visible gold;
• The Casper quartz vein system remains open with mineralized rock samples extending along trend for 330 meters. Recent infill soil samples returned up to 500 ppb gold 140m along trend northwest of the northernmost channel;
• Sulphide mineralization in the Casper quartz vein system include chalcopyrite, galena, pyrrhotite, pyrite and arsenopyrite with native gold. In addition to four new mineralized veins discovered in 2020, a significant IP resistivity low occurring 100 meters south of the main Casper vein is now under investigation;
• The discovery of the Casper gold quartz gold vein system is along the robust and under-explored mineralized McLymont Creek structural corridor, west of the Eskay rift. Volcanic and sedimentary rock units outcropping along faults near geochemical and geophysical anomalies are being sampled and mapped.
• Garibaldi is also making application to the TSX Venture for an extension of the $4.50 warrants, set to expire October 19, 2020 (2,539,683 warrants) and October 26, 2020 (634,920 warrants) for two additional years

Jeremy Hanson, Garibaldi VP-Exploration, stated: “These Casper vein channel sample assays provide very positive results, proving there are significant sections of continuous gold mineralization. The discovery of new mineralized veins within the 2 square km target area, additional trenching and ground truthing new gold-in soil anomalies, is turning this into a very exciting prospect.

The expanding Casper vein system may represent the surface expression of a much larger system at depth. The number of mineralized veins, found 50 to 100 meters from the main vein, the geophysical anomalies identified and a volcanic unit found outcropping 300 meters east containing up to 4.2 g/t gold are especially encouraging. We’re looking forward to extending the gold mineralization beyond the most eastern 249 g/t grab sample and testing the vein system with a drill this fall.”
