Andere positieve ontwikkeling in XRP rechtszaak
De bovenstaande ontwikkeling is niet de enige positieve ontwikkeling voor Ripple. Eind vorige maand was te lezen dat de rechter de SEC heeft bevolen documenten omtrent de uitspraken van voormalig SEC-topman William Hinman moet vrijgeven.
Hinman zou in een toespraak in 2018 hebben gesteld dat ethereum (ETH) een effect, of security, is. Als deze uitspraken meegenomen worden in de zaak dan rijst het vraagstuk natuurlijk waarom de SEC alleen achter XRP aangaat en niet ETH
