I confess that I did not vote.
I suppose what I was trying to remark upon is that I sense that the management has some kind of deal up their sleeves.
That deal is potentially going nowhere as shareholders are not voting in favour of the capital increase.
So what seems to be the problem?
Is it the size requested at 40%(forget the original 100% for one moment).
Is it just the dilution effect?
Are the big boys unwilling to put their hands in their pockets at that level?
Are they afraid that Gilead might not buy Gslapagos after all if it becomes "too big"
Are they afraid Onno would be going for the "wrong" company?
I don't know of course.
I do, however, wonder why management keeps coming back for a capital increase.
Are we potentially missing an opportunity?
