The way I see it CA/ARWR have a very clever strategy. That is, remove the low hanging fruit (hepatic targets) first, depriving the competition of the corresponding indications. At the same time ARWR has been quietly developing the tools to access the "medium level fruit" (other tissue types/indications). As far as I'm aware (someone please correct me if I'm wrong), the competition is still focused on the lower hanging fruit, and so far it seems to me, barely able to reach even these relatively easy targets, let alone the medium hanging fruit. The net result is that ARWR has the tree all to themselves. The key to all of this is the delivery/ligands, and that is where ARWR appears to be light years ahead of the competition.
Harvest time is fast approaching and I firmly believe ARWR will reap a bumper harvest, the likes of which have never been seen before. "An embarrassment of riches". CA does not mince his words or exaggerate from what I have seen. If anything he under promises, and over-delivers. The market still does not see it fully (although perhaps we are seeing the first signs that they are starting to), but the science means the odds are stacked in ARWRs favor. When this realization does finally occur, everyone will want a piece of the action. I think we are about to prove that "the sky is NOT the limit".
Remember, ARWR is not a conventional biotech. It is the start of a revolution that is going to send shock waves through the biotech/pharma sector, and there is no president for that. BP that does not get on board risks getting left behind. We have already seen this with Vertex. Takeda, Amgen, and JnJ have realized how significant what ARWR is doing is. Roch is likely kicking itself for effectively giving away the keys to the kingdom.
Given the above, then in the not too distant future NBU 1000 seems very plausible, and likely significantly understating the true value of what we have here.
I want to say thank you to everyone who has contributed to this board. Without your tireless efforts and DD I would probably not have noticed just how special/unique/amazing ARWR is. It's barely a year since I began investing real money in individual stocks, and ARWR only caught my eye in March, so I'm a newbie compared to most of you, but I get it now, and why some on here won't invest in anything else. ARWR and this board has blown my mind!
JMHO. Have a good weekend all!
