Berlin - Das niederländische Unternehmen Pharming will sein Medikament Ruconest (Conestat alfa) bei Lungenentzündungen unter Covid-19 in klinischen Studien testen. Die Anwendung bei ersten Patienten deutet auf ein mögliches Potenzial hin.

Die klinische Studie werde daher nicht nur für die Behandlung von Lungenentzündungen infolge einer Covid-19-Infektion wichtig sein – sondern auch wichtige Einblicke in die künftige Behandlung von Krankheiten liefern, die durch das Komplementsystem beeinflusst werden.

As a result of this public health emergency, there is a significant shortage in the supply of blood
in the United States (U.S.), which early implementation of the recommendations in this guidance
may help to address (even though the recommendations in this guidance are broadly applicable
beyond the COVID-19 public health emergency). For this reason, this revised guidance is being
implemented without prior public comment because FDA has determined that prior public
participation for this guidance is not feasible or appropriate (see section 701(h)(1)(C)(i) of the
FD&C Act and 21 CFR 10.115(g)(2)).

wat ik ervan maak is dat ze extra voorzichtigheid vragen met bloed mbt ziektes zoals Sars Aids en dit bloed van deze Donors 3 maanden op de plank moeten laten liggen
