    zo dat is even mottig wakker worden ... mijn ganse portefeuille iets meer dan 10% naar beneden geknikkerd gisteren en een deel nebius en alles van sandisk er uit (op beiden stond een stop).

    maandag zien we maar weer even opnieuw ...

    over een koersdoel durf ik mij niet meer uit te spreken, veel te volatiel ... 3 dagen later of vroeger kan zomaar 15-20% verschil uitmaken.

    Het is wel weer positief dat de financiële wereld wat rust heeft gevonden. Een aankomend FED voorzitter die redelijk lijkt te kunnen nadenken, en de huidige blijft hopelijk nog even aan. Daarmee is er wat vertrouwen terug, dollar veert wat op, die heeft ook een fors gat geslagen in het rendement.
    Ik ben dus wederom een vallend mes gaan oprapen, had mijn voornemen moeten gestart doen: 'koop niet, en dan ook echt niet bij'. Helaas door positivisme alhier gegrepen, kijk ik tegen een papieren forse stijging schade aan. Kan ook zo weer de andere kant opvliegen

    Mwah... eerste berichten daarover kwamen nabeurs, zie niet echt schokkende bewegingen nabeurs. Heeft ook niks te maken met vraag naar AI alleen met de twijfel over OpenAI vergeleken met wat Google nu doet. En eigenlijk is het niet eens slecht nieuws want de kritiek was juist dat ze in elkaar geld rondpompen.
    Maar of de correctie over is, daar twijfel ik sowieso over, wel goed dat Nebius snel duidelijkheid gaat geven hoe ze ervoor staan.

    Nvidia Corp will “absolutely” be involved in OpenAI’s current funding round, though the investment will be “nothing like” US$100 billion ($127 billion), chief executive officer Jensen Huang said.

    the new NJ governor has proposed in regards to “energy affordability act” and clean energy mandates. She is effectively cutting NBIS off at the knees for its Vineland site.

    Helpt allemaal niet mee. Vanaf 20 januari is ze gekozen en zie je ook daling.. voor sites kun je google. Hopelijk krijgt Nebius er geen last van.

    Revolut als klant:

    Two years ago we delivered the first version of our Support chatbot at Revolut using external LLM providers. Since then, it has grown to 100% coverage and about 80% retention (chats successfully closed by the bot without escalation to a human agent).

    Over those two years, we experimented with multiple providers (OpenAI, Google and others). That flexibility helped us iterate fast, but as the system grew, the complexity moved from the model to the pipeline and the infrastructure: orchestration, evaluation, controls, observability, latency, reliability, etc.

    In voice, we took a similar approach: partnering with ElevenLabs helped us build a great production voice bot over the last year, now live in 20 countries and handling about 25k calls a month.

    Today, the bot runs on a hybrid stack (multiple external models + in-house models) and we are moving toward deeper in-house ownership. Thanks to our friends from Fireworks AI and Nebius for providing infrastructure when needed, and doing it fast (compared to some other bigger players).

    just filed a building permit in Birmingham, Alabama (BLD2026-00195) on 01/29/2026 for their BHM01 data center at 201 Milan Parkway

    Birmingham City Council proposed a 180-270 day moratorium on new data center applications in December 2025. A public hearing was held on January 13, 2026, but NO VOTE was taken. The council sent the proposal to the Planning and Zoning Committee for further review. As of today, the moratorium has NOT been formally passed.

    This permit was filed on January 29, 2026 while the moratorium is still stuck in committee. Even if the moratorium passes in the coming weeks, permits already filed and under review are grandfathered under standard municipal law principles. Nebius timed this correctly.

    Nebius is moving. Foundation first, build in phases, permits locked in before regulatory doors close. This is how you execute.
