    2. Verkondiging Trump vorige week 5/8 tarieven versus TSMC: deze week meer en duidelijkheid over hoe, wat, wie en hoeveel...
    U.S. President Trump stated in an interview with CNBC on the 5th that new tariffs on semiconductors and chips will be announced as early as next week. Additionally, he once again mentioned TSMC’s investment plan to establish a factory in Arizona, stating that TSMC is expected to invest $300 billion (approximately NT$8.97 trillion) in the U.S.
    In a phone interview with CNBC on the 5th, Trump said, “We will announce policies regarding semiconductors and chips, which is a separate category because we want these things to be made in America.” He added that this news will be announced next week.

    Was het niet eerst $165 miljard? Verwarring alom...
    Waren het losse flodders vorige week?
    Eind vorige week zijn voormeldingen gekomen dat het 100% tarieven zouden worden behalve dan diegenen die in de US zich vestigen en gaan bouwen. Maar, nogmaals de definitieve besluiten zouden deze week gecommuniceerd worden, zoals zijn tweets en berichten zeiden.
    Daarnaast blijft de vraag: wat betekent dat met name voor TSMC en wat gaat daar besloten worden?

    NB: deze week vinden de gesprekken plaats met essentiële figuren Witte Huis en Intel CEO Tan. Dit valt wel toevallig samen en heeft verbanden, natuurlijk. Wordt er dadelijk een totaal announcement gedaan waar het geheel gebracht wordt i.c.m. de definitieve tarieven semiconductors/TSMC?

    Wordt vervolgd....of niet (losse flodders, dan).

    Tsja, als er iets besloten wordt op korte termijn, betekent het weer een beweging in de chippers/tech markt (positief of negatief). Laten we daar maar mee rekening houden en alert blijven.

    Lees op IBKR, dat 52% van de aandelen van ASML in handen zijn van retail investors.

    FYI, heb geen positie in ASML. Heb mijn geschreven P620 aug25 al een tijdje geleden verzilverd. Zit weer aan de zijlijn. En ik slaap kort en krachtig...

    Doe wel mee bij andere aandelen (zie mijn legenda om een indruk te krijgen) en geniet mee met tech/chips via ETFs. Tevens via die weg een Quantum ETF. Geeft rust (kan ik meedoen met alle tech-ers en chippers, zijn er nl zó veel).
    Uit interesse, welke quantum ETF heb je als ik vragen mag?
