Zonder ander groot nieuws houd ik het vandaag nog een keer bij onze prins Constantijn.

Wat is u opgevallen?

‘Hier is me duidelijk geworden dat bijvoorbeeld TomTom, Nvidia en Delphi allemaal laagjes leveren van het eindproduct. De een levert hardware, de ander kaarten en data. Je moet dus als start-up ook bedenken welk laagje je gaat pakken, op zo’n manier dat niemand meer om je heen kan.

Laat ik nu aan Tom Tom denken.

Die grote bedrijven nemen ook veel over omdat ze te veel geld hebben?

‘De toekomst is in de technologiesector zo onzeker. Je moet heel veel investeren om te voorkomen dat je wordt ingehaald. TomTom, Panasonic, Philips, ze hebben allemaal moeten omschakelen.

Deze van onze prins Constantijn wil ik U niet onthouden.

U heeft hier starters gezien, en in een andere hal de nieuwe ontwikkelingen bij grote multinationals. Wat is uw indruk?

‘Het is geweldig om te zien waar we technologisch staan. Ik heb hier net in Las Vegas in een autonoom bestuurde auto meegereden. Dat ging zo vlekkeloos dat ik denk dat we al vrij snel op vrij grote schaal zonder menselijke interventie kunnen rijden.’

Ik denk toch dat de prins met WE , ons Nederlanders bedoelt :-)

Henk, ga je echt diejen Kid weer toestaan om dit soort onzin te posten? Ik zou zeggen: gelijk afkappen die handel. Als hij zichzelf niet in de hand heeft ben jij misschien de aangewezen persoon om het dan maar met harde hand te doen. Ik dacht even dat hij braaf op zijn eigen draadje zou blijven. Maar daar krijgt hij kennelijk te weinig aandacht.

Beursblik: UBS verhoogt koersdoel TomTom
Koersdoel naar 10,40 euro.

(ABM FN-Dow Jones) UBS heeft maandag in een rapport het koersdoel voor TomTom verhoogd van 9,00 naar 10,40 euro met een ongewijzigd koopadvies.

De analisten van de Zwitserse bank werden positiever over hardware en platforms binnen de Europese technologiesector. De marktvorsers verwachten dat het aantal overnames en acquisities in de markt zal groeien, maar mogelijk wel in een lager tempo. Bovendien zal er binnen de sector een belangrijke focus op margeverbetering liggen, aldus de analisten.

Binnen technologie zal volgens UBS net als in 2016 de aandacht uitgaan naar hardware voor de auto-industrie en lithografie-activiteiten, evenals naar de bredere discussie over 4.5/5G, OLED en toegevoegde realiteit.

Op een rood Damrak koerste het aandeel TomTom maandagochtend 1,8 procent hoger op 9,04 euro.

- Thanks to your educational system.

- Yes. We get here to the company of many highly talented engineers. We managed to build good teams and bring their leaders. These are people who not only do what belongs to them, but they can lead and lead behind others.

When we start with a project and the need for its talented engineers, once the question is asked: "How many free people we have in Lodz?". And so it turns.
