Interessant bericht, alleen staat er niet bij om welke test het gaat..

China's Jiangsu develops rapid test kit for coronavirus.

NANJING, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- Experts have developed a rapid nucleic test kit for the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) in the city of Wuxi, east China's Jiangsu Province.

The kit can detect the virus within eight to 15 minutes, according to the city bureau of science and technology.

The kit has high sensitivity and is easy to use and transport, according to the bureau. It will be vital for the prevention and control of the epidemic.

The kit was the joint work of experts from the National Institute for Viral Disease Control and Prevention and a Wuxi-based high-tech company. The company received a notice to develop the kit on Jan. 20.

The kit is undergoing mass production. The company said it can produce kits for 4,000 people a day, and the city government is helping the company expand production.

The first batch of kits is already in use at the frontlines in Hubei Province.

Dit is erg goed nieuws en enorm snel van fda. Kan de tijd nog niet vinden waarop dit nieuws vandaag naar buiten kwam maar kan morgen wel eens een groene dag bezorgen ondanks de warrants (waar inderdaad duidelijk al op is ingespeeld vanmiddag).

Het vogelgriepvirus kwam ook al dagen voordat het hier in de media kwam, vanuit Chinese burgers/ lokale media voorbij. Poe hé, heftig nieuws!

@Louis Wat ik al dacht, de testkit van Novacyt is toch wat minder uniek dan sommigen hier doen voorkomen. Tegen de Chinese productie is het moeilijk concurreren.

De wereld is groter dan China en bij westerse landen zullen kits aan bepaalde eisen moeten voldoen. Daar zal nog wel wat licht tussen zitten.

Het gaat hier om een test ontwikkeld door het Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, niet om die van Novacyt. Waarom zou de koers daar positief op reageren? Het is ook nog maar de vraag welke test beter is:

Deze high-tech company kan net zo goed Novacyt of de Chinese branchegenoot BGI Group zijn, waar Curetis een samenwerking mee aangaat.

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — As many experts question the veracity of China's statistics for the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak, Tencent over the weekend seems to have inadvertently released what is potentially the actual number of infections and deaths, which were astronomically higher than official figures.

On late Saturday evening (Feb. 1), Tencent, on its webpage titled "Epidemic Situation Tracker", showed confirmed cases of novel.... ...

Het zou me niks verbazen als het Tencent artikel klopt. Hoezo fake en opruiend? Een ieder mag zijn mening hebben. Een mening opdringen of zeggen dat je iets 100% zeker weet, ja dát is wat anders.

Dus 5 dagen geleden waren er al 24.589 doden en 154.023 geïnfecteerden ? En dat weten we nu dankzij een(bewust) foutje bij Tencent (via Wechat) nb een van de grootste Chinese hightech bedrijven. Klopt, ieder mag er het zijne van denken maar ik ga er toch maar vanuit dat dit fake News is.

Wel lastig want is één bron China is aan de ene kant goed in cover up,
Maar ook nep nieuws is heel gewoon daar
Denk overigens ook dat het nepnieuws is.laten we het voor de mensen daar hopen

er bestaan meer strains in de Conona virussen famillie
het sterke van de Novacyt test Kit is dat hij precies dat Wuhanvirus detecteert (2019-nCoV) maar geen false positive geeft als er sprake is van een ander virus uit de Corona famillie.

The Primerdesign coronavirus test has the ability to detect only the 2019 strain of the virus,
which the Company believes differentiates it from other current tests which are less specific and
may also react to other related species giving rise to a false diagnosis. The Primerdesign test is

High specificity

The test developed and launched by Novacyt’s molecular diagnostics division, Primerdesign, is a quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) assay that “specifically targets the unique genome sequences of the 2019-nCoV strain of the virus,” Graham Mullis, CEO of the Paris-based company, told BioWorld. By validating it with the specific sequence of the genome found in the new strain of the virus, the test delivers high levels of assay performance, particularly specificity – an advantage over tests that may react to related species, he said.

Mijn DNA is mijn DNA maar heeft ook overeenkomsten met mijn verre familie. Die niet gevaarlijk zijn.Dus buiten beschouwing gelaten kunnen worden.
