En misschien gaan we ooit terugkijken naar dit moment en denken: had ik toen maar wat meer aandelen gekocht..
Ik heb nog maar eens een kooporder gezet op 3.85usd.
Al kunnen de instellingen misschien nog eens steviger aan de boom schudden om alle stop-lossen in werking te doen treden om nog meer aandelen te kunnen overnemen.

In afwachting het het OFC volgende week en PIC International volgende maand zou het leuk zijn mocht er ook wat contractaankondigingen komen.
Meer en meer zijn er meningen dat bij een doorbraak snel een overname van lightwavelogic zou volgen.
Hopelijk kan lebby hier ook de stilte behouden bij een aantrekkelijk overnamebod.

We sluiten deze week af met een koers van 4,09 dollar voor 1 lightwavelogic-aandeel. (+3%)
Er werd weer stevig gehandeld met 932.600 verkochte aandelen waarvan slechts 271.205, wat 27,04% is als DarkPool-volume.
Volgende week spelen we verder.

Testen en feedback, en dat net zolang tot een potentiële klant tevreden is .. ergens dit jaar gaat het een feest worden .. de koers is kommer en kwel .. maar eens de technologie omarmd wordt gaat het crescendo .. om de moed erin te houden heb ik een intertessante post toegevoegd van investor hub .. :

The “milestone”

My best interpretation is that the company has successfully ported its processes into the foundry and LWLG is now receiving wafers from their foundry partner that already have the polymer deposited and poled. I very recently saw confirmation from the company that the foundry(s) are handling the polymer. This differs from the below quote from the 10K in that previously, LWLG appears to have been receiving modulators already diced up from the wafer…and then would deposit/pole the polymer in-house. Also perhaps in early trial runs, the foundry would handle the polymer on individual die as part of the learning process towards methods for wafer scale.

Recall a few months ago I mentioned the two distinct scenarios I was still unsure about…is the polymer being handled at the foundry or in-house? Well, we have confirmation that the foundry is handling it and 200mm wafers are being received. The "up to" is no concern when you understand that it is far cheaper to optimize device designs on smaller wafers for R&D and also that InP wafers are not 200mm. So, multiple reasonable scenarios where wafers smaller than 200mm would be used.

Before reading the rest of this post, recall that the December 2022 shareholder letter mentioned that a focus for 2023 would be BEOL engineering and high volume poling. Also recall that the December 2022 investor presentation noted that the EO Polymer PDK became “operational” and then laid out device goals for 2023 which primarily consisted of receiving modulators with the new ALD encapsulation technology and putting them through reliability testing.

“In 2023 we worked with silicon-based foundry partners to help scale in volume our polymer modulator devices and we received working modulator chips from these foundries. We have advanced and matured our interactions with our foundry partners and we continue to receive working modulator chips for prototyping…Partnering with silicon-based foundries not only demonstrates that our polymer technology can be transferred into standard production lines using standard equipment, it also allows us to efficiently utilize our capital. The foundry partnerships will allow us to scale our high-performance polymer optical engines quickly and efficiently. We have now received silicon wafers that range up to 200mm in diameter, which aligns well with foundry manufacturing.”

So…today, it appears reasonable to assume the front-end PDK is complete and the company succeeded in the 2023 goals of BEOL engineering/high volume poling.

Now, I believe my new theory that the continued reliability testing that is being required by the end-user is that they want to be sure that LWLG can produce consistent results across multiple foundry runs. If I had to guess, they’re 3-4 runs in at this point…with the first batch of modulators nearing 7,000 hours of testing. I’d guess the other runs are separated by about 2,000 hours (~3 months).

Regarding the Imec device using Perkinamine…I’m very glad to see them using EO polymer. Imec is a very large research foundry. If I had to guess, over the last year or so and as evidenced by the May material license agreement…that LWLG is perfectly confident in the reliability of its materials that they are now comfortable letting others ‘play’ with it. Understand that the historically ‘poor’ reputation of EOP stems from the fact that a couple groups with unstable material let a lot of people experiment with it.

Now…I usually don’t comment on stock price or value, but what’s all this worth today? Apparently, the market thinks about $500 million. And that's after small caps have been brutalized and the company has been quiet for so long. All I know, and without any doubt, is that if this company succeeds in mass commercializing EOP…it’s going to be worth far beyond today’s price. Most of us are here because we believe that.

Nothing I am seeing in the industry, from the company, or from competing technologies has me concerned with the prospects for LWLG. No statements from the company indicate “issues” as you say. If anything, they are just challenges.

This milestone solidifies this technology as scalable.

Windstil voorlopig bij lightwavelogic en ook weinig beweging in de koers (+0,49%) 4,11 dollar.
Er werden 458.000 aandelen verhandeld waarvan 188.529, wat 40,77% is als DarkPool-volume.

Zit weinig ander op @Rotel74, al duurt het weer tot december. Uitstappen is voor de meeste geen optie. Teveel verlies en FOMO. We zijn inmiddels bijna aanbeland in het 2e kwartaal. Weer vanaf vooraf aan hetzelfde riedeltje, ASM in mei en bijna om de maand een conference of een meeting. Wie weet wordt het pas 2025

Op 22 mei verwachten de aandeelhouders een duidelijk antwoord van Lebby.
En het specifieke apparaat dat daar gedemonstreerd zal worden mag niet een zoveelste test zijn maar een kant en klaar afgewerkt product .
Het bedrijf heeft immers aangekondigd dat hun 4x200 PIC in 2024 klaar zal zijn .
Vandaag geen beweging in het aandeel .
Van 4,11 dollar gisteren naar 4,12 dollar vandaag.
Er werden 415.000 aandelen verhandeld waarvan slechts 126.659, wat 29,41% is als DarkPool-volume.

Enige opleving in de koers van lightwavelogic tijdens het laatste beursuur.
Plus 3,16% (4,25 dollar)
Er werden 481.000 aandelen verhandeld waarvan185.476, wat 37,50% is als DarkPool-volume.
Van 10.30hr tot 11.15 hr werden er zelf 9 miljoen aandelen beschikbaar gesteld voor de shorters.
Geen idee vanwaar die giga hoeveelheden kwamen.
