press releases Logica to support Countrywide Property Lawyers (CPL) growth plans with Business Process Outsourcing contract (BPO) 20 November 2002 Logica selected for five-year, £16 million BPO contract to manage core business processes for conveyancing firm Logica, the global solutions company, announced today that it has signed a five-year, £16 million contract to operate a new document handling centre (DHC) for Countrywide Property Lawyers (CPL), the largest residential conveyancing company in England and Wales. As the UK’s conveyancing market leader, CPL aims to increase market share fivefold within 3 years. The DHC, which will be based in Logica's South Wales service centre, is expected to manage more than 10 million documents per year by 2008 and will provide full electronic access by CPL to documents received or sent out for new conveyancing cases. This will greatly enhance customer service as customer enquiries will be dealt with more speedily by staff with direct access to appropriate documentation. Additionally, increased efficiencies to facilitate CPL’s strong growth schedule will be gained when a new case management system is deployed in CPL which is also being developed and implemented by Logica.
