DSM Biologics and Crucell Announce PER.C6® Licensing Agreement with Medarex Inc.

Sittard/Leiden, The Netherlands, December 18, 2007 - DSM Biologics, a business unit of DSM Pharmaceutical Products, and Dutch biotechnology company Crucell N.V. (Euronext, NASDAQ: CRXL; Swiss Exchange: CRX) today announced a PER.C6® license agreement with biopharmaceutical company Medarex, Inc. This license agreement allows Medarex to use the PER.C6® production platform in its antibody research. Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed.

Crucell sluit PER.C6-licentieovereenkomst met Medarex

AMSTERDAM (FD.nl/Betten) - Crucell en DSM hebben een licentieovereenkomst gesloten met het Amerikaanse bedrijf Medarex. Dat heeft het Leidse biotechnologiebedrijf dinsdag bekendgemaakt.

Financiele details zijn niet vrijgegeven. Onder de overeenkomst mag biofarmaciebedrijf Medarex de PER.C6-technologie van Crucell gebruiken voor een onderzoek naar antilichamen.

DSM, Crucell sluiten PER.C6-licentiedeal met Medarex


AMSTERDAM (Dow Jones)--Crucell nv heeft samen met DSM Biologics, een onderdeel van Koninklijke DSM nv, een licentieovereenkomst gesloten met het Amerikaanse biotechbedrijf Medarex inc voor zijn PER.C6-technologie. Dat meldt het Nederlandse biotechbedrijf dinsdagmiddag in een persbericht, zonder financiele details bekend te maken.

Door de overeenkomst kan Medarex de PER.C6-cellijn van Crucell en DSM gaan gebruiken voor zijn onderzoek naar antilichamen.

De PER.C6-technologie is ontwikkeld voor de productie van biofarmaceutische producten op grote schaal, zoals bepaalde proteinen en antilichamen.

Ik kan me nog herinneren dat Brus geen PerC6 deals meer wilde bekendmaken.
Het bedrijf was te volwassen geworden voor deze relatief kleine bedragen.

Altijd fan geweest van dit aandeel, -zelfs als er ik negatief op was - ja, dat kan goed samen, wie men liefheeft kastijdt men! - hoe dan ook, ik heb er heel wat in de wintervoorraad liggen!
Maar het is inderdaad te slaperig, die koers.
Kom op Crucellers trek je verkooporders nu maar snel in voor de verandering, want dit is niet zomaar een berichtje maar een verregaande samenwerking, met zeer verreikende financiele consequenties...

Als je zoveel inside info hebt Ruli, kun je vast wel vertellen of ze deze licentie in combinatie met hun Star licentie gaan gebruiken.

Die overname is in kleine kring al lang en breed beklonken, dunkt mij.
De prijs waarschijnlijk ook.
De koers wordt ruim voor het uitbrengen van een PB vast flink lager gezet om aan het eind van de dag weer op 0% uit te kunnen komen.

Zelfs zo openlijk dat Sammie dit vanmorgen al kon melden.
