AMSTERDAM (AFN) - Source heeft in 2016, het laatste jaar voor het samengaan met branchegenoot HeadFirst, een lagere omzet behaald dan een jaar eerder. De arbeidsbemiddelaar meldde vrijdag last te hebben gehad van tegenwind in de voor het bedrijf belangrijke energiesector.
De onderneming, die sinds afronding van de fusie HeadFirst Source Group heet, behaalde een omzet van 191,7 miljoen euro. Dat is een daling van 1,8 procent. De moeilijke omstandigheden in de energiesector werden volgens Source ,,in belangrijke mate" gecompenseerd met nieuwe klanten en groei bij bestaande klanten.
Het bedrijfsresultaat zakte van 1,7 miljoen euro naar 1,4 miljoen euro. Het verschil is onder meer te verklaren door eenmalige posten, onder meer ter voorbereiding op de fusie. Als die niet worden meegerekend is volgens Source sprake van een ,,duidelijke" verbetering van de operationele marge. Onder de streep werd een verlies van 1 miljoen euro genoteerd.
Voor 2017 streeft HeadFirst Source Group overigens naar een omzet van meer dan 450 miljoen euro een een bedrijfsresultaat van minimaal 7 miljoen euro.
