In answer to your first question concerning GEM as you may be aware we have had this facility in place for 4 years now and we have paid fees over that period for the potential facility. We have only used it once in the first year and only in a small way. This also helped to show that it is a ‘real’ facility. My understanding is that GEM were quite happy to extend again without a fee as we had not made any ongoing use of the facility and therefore they had not incurred and costs themselves over the previous 3 years.
In answer to your second question I would like to explain that this was a rather rushed announcement as we had obviously only just been notified about the delays. We were planning things late through the night on Thursday and by the time we were ready to release our US offices were closed. Our US office takes care of our website. We made the decision that it was more important to get the update out as early as possible via the exchanges on the Friday than to wait for our US offices to open. In the rush the US office also did not update our website later that day. My apologies for this. The US office is now closed until Wednesday and I will ensure that our website is updated as quickly as possible after that. We have also reviewed this release process to ensure that this does not happen again although of course we would hope not to have to be in such a rush in the future.
