Biden to sign lend-lease for Ukraine into law on May 9.

Under the lend-lease law, Ukraine will be able to get military equipment faster, bypassing bureaucratic procedures. The name echoes the World War II-era measure that allowed the U.S. to quickly resupply the Allies in the fight against Nazi Germany.

Lend lease is free of charge. They give you the equipment and you give it back after the war. Britain got $30 billions worth of military equipment during world war 2 and they didn't pay for any of it.

Russia’s annual May 9 parade will include a flight by the Il-80 “doomsday” plane, which would carry Russia’s top brass in the event of a nuclear war, Russia’s Defense Ministry said, as cited by Reuters

The plane will take part in a Victory Day parade for the first time since 2010. The parade will also feature supersonic fighters and Tu-160 strategic bombers.

Izium ligt links in het bovenste rode gedeelte bij de rode uitpuiling naar het zuiden
Vanuit Izium willen de Russen direct naar het zuiden trekken en de Oekrainse troepen ten oosten van die lijn zijn dan volledig ingesloten

Zij stuiten op veel weerstand en naar het zuiden trekken gaat niet makkelijk, zelfs stagnatie

De Oekraïners hebben ten oosten van izium en ten westen van Izium de Russische troepen terug gedrongen en proberen dichter bij elkaar te komen, hetzij boven Izium of net ten zuiden ervan ( zie de witte uitstulpingen )
Dan wordt de weg afgesloten die richting Rusland leidt naar het noorden
Vooruitgeschoven Russische troepen kunnen dan niet bevoorraad worden met munitie, brandstof en eten

Voorlopig is het nog niet zo ver maar, zo zou het kunnen gaan

The Scheherezade, also known as Putin's secret super yacht, has just been arrested in Italy.
Here is the press release from the Guardia di Finanza.

Adopted the freezing decree of the boat Scheherazade

Press release N° 85 of 05/06/2022

Pursuant to Article 11 of Legislative Decree n. 109/2007, the investigations conducted by the Nucleo Speciale di Polizia Valutaria (Guardia di Finanza) highlighted the presence of significant economic and business links of the beneficial owner of the boat Scheherazade with prominent elements of the Russian government and with other subjects included in the list reported in Annex I of the Regulation (EU) n. 269/2014 of the Council (17 March 2014). This Regulation concerns restrictive measures in respect of actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine. Flying the flag of the Cayman Islands and moored in Marina di Carrara, the boat had long been under the attention of the authorities.

Based on these elements, the Financial Security Committee (FSC) proposed to the Council of the European Union the inclusion of the actual owner of the boat in the aforementioned list.

As proposed by the FSC, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Daniele Franco, adopted the freezing decree of the boat Scheherazade (IMO 9809980), pending the adoption of the aforementioned restrictive measures proposed to the European Union by the FSC.
