Helaas is dit een propaganda dingetje. Oekraïne beweert al weken dat ze daar een offensief aan het uitvoeren zijn. Voorheen waren de vorderingen echter "onder embargo" op last van de Oekraïnse generale staf, wat natuurlijk merkwaardig is aangezien een overwinning alleen maar goed is voor moraal en de Russen toch wel in staat moeten worden geacht om de posities aan het front goed in beeld te hebben. je hebt een partij met leden die contributie betalen
Bovendien ontvangen je subsidie van het Rijk op basis van het leden aantal voor je partij

Dit gaat om totaal inkomsten voor de FvD van enkele miljoenen euro's

Dit geld mag een partij leider niet prive opnemen

Daarom heeft Alexandr Dugin en de TsarGrad groep deze constructie geadviseerd

Schrijf een boek, maakt niet uit of het een leesbaar verhaal is of niet

Is dit een waarneming die het Oekrains offensief bevestigt ?

Natuurlijk niet. Wie zegt dat dit vandaag is opgenomen? Toen het offensief bij Kherson vorige keer was begonnen waren er ook allemaal beelden van Oekraïnse tanks die naar Kherson gingen ongeveer een maand geleden op twitter, geloof zelfs dat het Oekraïnse leger dat filmpje deelde. Maar aan de bomen was duidelijk te zien dat het was opgenomen in het vroege voorjaar. Je kunt niets geloven in een oorlog.

Ik volg zo nu en dan deze website, zal je ook wel kennen. militaryland.net
De maker is pro Oekraïne, maar het is wel redelijk betrouwbaar. Over het algemeen worden er helaas alleen maar beperkte Russische vorderingen gemeld. En natuurlijk, omdat er een offensief is (al weken) bij Kherson:

"Ukrainian side announced a strict embargo on all information regarding Kherson Oblast and advance of Ukrainian troops. The only allowed source for this area are the reports by Ukrainian General Staff."

Voor wie dat wil geloven natuurlijk.
Ik geloof pas dat er echt een offensief is als er meldingen komen van bevrijde dorpen in de regio met visuele bevestiging.

Ik denk eigenlijk dat beide partijen niet in staat zijn tot grote acties. De oorlog is vastgelopen. Iets wat eigenlijk bizar is gezien het enorme front en de relatief kleine legers, maar dit is wel de realiteit. Dit gaat nog wel even duren.

Russia’s defence ministry has responded to Ukraine’s claims that its troops have launched a long-awaited counter-offensive in the south of the country.

Russia’s state-owned news agency Ria cites the ministry as saying that Ukraine’s troops attempted an offensive in southern Mykolaiv and Kherson regions, sustaining significant casualties.

The ministry added:

Enemy’s offensive attempt failed miserably.

It is not possible to verify these claims.

Ukrainian forces begin 'shaping' battlefield for counteroffensive, senior US officials say

CNN)Ukrainian forces have begun "shaping" operations in southern Ukraine to prepare the battlefield for a significant Ukrainian counteroffensive, two senior US officials briefed on the intelligence told CNN.
Shaping operations are standard military practice prior to an offensive and involve striking weapons systems, command and control, ammunition depots and other targets to prepare the battlefield for planned advances.
The US believes the Ukrainian counteroffensive, which has long been anticipated, will include a combination of air and ground operations.

Ukraine indicated Monday morning that the actions were underway.

"Yes, (Ukrainian forces) have started the offensive actions in several directions on the South front towards liberating the occupied territories," Natalia Humeniuk, a spokesperson for Ukraine's Operational Command South, told CNN, adding, "All the details will be available after the operation is fulfilled."
The plans come as Russia's war in Ukraine has passed its six-month mark, with US assessments indicating that Russia has been able to deploy fewer units to the frontlines than initially thought, according to a senior US official.

he official said many of the existing units -- which Russia organizes into Battlefield Tactical Groups, or BTGs, comprising infantry, tanks, artillery and air defense -- are deploying below strength, some even at half their normal manpower. The US has also been observing Ukrainian forces benefiting from the use of US- and NATO-supplied HIMARS mobile rocket launchers, which have allowed Ukraine to strike and destroy targets in Russian-held territory.

CNN reported last week that US and European officials say Ukraine has successfully used a method of resistance warfare developed by US special operations forces to fight back against Russia and bog down its vastly superior military. The Resistance Operating Concept was developed in 2013 following Russia's war with Georgia a few years earlier but its value was only realized after Russia's invasion of Ukraine's Crimean peninsula in 2014. It provides a blueprint for smaller nations to effectively resist and confront a larger neighbor that has invaded.

Neither Ukrainian nor US officials are revealing the main targets of the expected counteroffensive. In recent weeks Ukrainian forces have been making advances around the key southern city of Kherson, which is currently occupied by Russian forces. Kherson is considered crucial to the control of Ukraine's southern coast and access to the Black Sea.

Ukrainian and Russian forces have also been engaged in intense fighting in recent days around the nuclear power plant -- Europe's largest -- in the city of Zaporizhzhia.
Ukraine's nuclear operator Energoatom said Friday that the plant had been reconnected to Ukraine's electricity grid a day after the plant went offline for the first time in its history.

De realiteit is o.a.: het eerste slachtoffer in de oorlog is de waarheid.
Aanvallende troepen verliezen ca. drie keer zoveel troepen als verdedigende.
Een Nederlandse boer uit Oekraïne meldt dat alleen al in zijn dorp, achthonderd inwoners, vier mannen zijn gesneuveld in de oorlog...

Mijn realiteit: eerst zien, dan geloven.
Hadden we voorheen: de wereld draait door, in Oekraïne draait de gehaktmolen door, het vermorzelen van kanonnenvlees.

First of all, check out the Russian armored vehicles. They're parked like ducks in a row in front of Unit 5, under an elevated walkway used to access the reactors.

There could be two reasons that the Russians are stationing vehicles near the reactors.

1. To try and protect from indirect fire. Putting them under the walkway may offer further protection.

2. To try and conceal them from satellite imagery (not off-nadir imagery though!)

The @Maxar imagery also clearly shows two holes in the roof of an important support building...

According to @TomBielefeld's very good map, this is one of the Radioactive Waste Treatment buildings at the plant. It's a soft target that contains some radiological material.
The @IAEA's Aug 23 update suggests it may have been hit Aug 20.

Shelling of that building has the potential to cause local radiation contamination @TomBielefeld told me back in March, after a suspected Russian shell landed nearby.

It wouldn't cause a meltdown, but it could greatly complicate safety at the site.

Third, and maybe craziest of all is this wide view showing wildfires are STILL burning to the north of the plant, including a small one less than a kilometer away.

These fires may be the result of shelling around the plant. Both Russia and Ukraine are blaming each other.

I tweeted a little thread last week showing how it's very possible that these fires are what caused the plant to lose offsite power last Thursday.

Met die conclusie ben ik niet mee akkoord.
Ik zie de radiators niet geladen op legertrucks.
Waarschijnlijk is het recycleren van die radiators door lokale mensen uit een gebouw dat toch rijp voor de sloop is. Wat moeten die mensen doen voor hun dagelijks werk kan je je afvragen.

Daarnaast als gewoon lopend water al een probleem is dan zal gas of warm water voor verwarming waarschijnlijk ook een probleem zijn.
