There is zero strength in this stock.
This despite all the assurances of management.
Why? Because nobody trusts management. Total of about $20 million dollars over the last 5 years for the 4 "biggest deals ever". almost all of that for Sanofi. Not including funding for REIMBURSEMENT for research the company has made almost nothing for the biggest deals ever.
Sanofi Flucell-20 million in signing and milestones.
Ebola-all reimbursement for research
Medimmune antibiotic resistant-nothing...
Wyeth-absolutely nothing except getting to "reverse impairment"
J+J--they sold shares and gave J+J de facto CONTROL OF THE COMPANY. They sold the company's future. They got no upfront payment at all, and won't get one for a minimum of 2 years...probably they won't get a penny until FluMabs bets into phase III, or one of the other targets gets into phase 1. My guess is they won't get anything other than "REIMBURSEMENT OF COSTS" for at least 4 years. Last time I checked, REIMBURSEMENT OF COSTS is not revenues, and it certainly will not be profit.
Biggest deals ever? God, grab your wallet whenever Ronald "the Ego" Brus utters the phrase
"It's, you know, the biggest, you know, we don't have to tell you because you know, biggest deal ever. It will, you know, increase shareholder value, and solidify our, you know, our position as the biotech with, you know, perpetual promise. We are, you know, like, the Microsoft, you know, of biotech."
